The Timetable

The lessons are skills based ~ Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Grammar. We also make use of our position in York to include material about the City and the North of England.

Projects

Schools can also incorporate their own project ideas and we are happy to discuss and help plan these in advance. We already include two small projects in the afternoon activity programme. Both of these can be expanded to become the focus for a whole week! For more information, please contact the College.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee will depend on the number of smaller groups (often called classes or levels) that the group is divided into. For example, a group of 18 students taught in two classes of 9 students will be more expensive than the same group being taught in one class of 18 students.

Accommodation

Living in an English home is a valuable experience for all students. We pride ourselves on the care we take to select suitable families for all our students and, although we can arrange residential accommodation, we strongly recommend home stay accommodation. In addition, younger students are more closely supervised!

Booking Conditions

The College booking conditions apply to closed groups. In addition closed groups must be arranged and paid for through one contact. We also ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee, payable 12 weeks in advance of the start of the course.
