IELTS Exam
You can now apply for your IELTS test online. Please click here and follow the instructions. The new system is easy to use and allows you to book a test immediately (however the place is not confirmed until, I have also received payment, a passport photo and a copy of the ID document). Soon you will also be able to upload your own photo and ID document. However, if you are using the system before this you will need to post these documents to me separately. Please read below for other general information about applying for the test.
This new online system also includes the option to view results online 13 days after the test and/or receive results by text. Applying online also gives FREE Access to Road to IELTS Online preparation course:
Road to IELTS is a self study course written by British Council to prepare for the IELTS exam. The course is organized into units based on commonly used IELTS topics and each unit covers all four sections of the exam (reading, listening, writing and speaking). When applying online the British Council will offer the Road to IELTS Online which consists of access to 3 units (30 hours) of this course for FREE.
Candidates can still post all documents, or call into the College to apply in the usual way (see below). I can only accept cheques, postal orders, cash and credit/debit card payments by post or in person. When paying online, candidates will use world pay, which will be available to use from March onwards. Full details are available when using the online system.
You can still print the application form and send it to us, simply follow the instructions below. You can also call into the College in person and apply and pay for your exam.

We are now holding exams at All Saints School AND Melton College on a Saturday. Please check your email confirmation CAREFULLY to make sure you have the correct venue!!! If you are late to the exam, you may not be able to take the test.
All candidates must arrive at the exam location by 9:30. We cannot issue you with a time for your speaking test until the day of the exam, however, if you require an early speaking test, you must contact the IELTS Administrator on the number below at least two weeks before your exam.
You can contact the IELTS Administrator on 01904 670920 between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday.
The IELTS Administrator can be contacted on the morning of an exam, between the hours of 8am - 10am & 2pm – 5pm on 07563 759015. If you are running late for your exam, please let us know by telephoning this number. Please note that this service is available on the morning/afternoon of an IELTS exam ONLY.
All results will be posted to the address stated on your application form two weeks after your exam. We are not permitted to give out results over the phone or by email.
Additional Test Report Forms
If you require an additional Test Report Form after your exam has taken place, you are required to complete an 'Additional TRF' form. There is a fee of £10.00 per copy and if this is posted to an address in the UK, the postage is £1.95.. If it is posted to an address overseas, the postage charge is £6.95. This cost means that I can provide you with a tracking number to ensure the report has been received. All fees must be paid at the time of request.
Enquiry on Result
Candidates who are unhappy with their exam result can apply for a re-mark. First, you must decide which part of the test result you are unhappy with: Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking. You can make an application for all or any of these papers to be re-marked by an independent examiner at the British Council. The fee for the re-mark is £60.00 which will be refunded in full if the mark is changed. If the final result remains the same, you will lose the £60.00 fee. The re-mark will take approximately 7 weeks to be processed. Please note that the British Council performs the re-mark and we are unable to influence the speed of this process. If you decide to proceed, you need to return the original Test Report Form, along with the Enquiry on Result application form and the fee of £60.00. You can pay by cheque, postal order or you can use the IELTS Credit Card payment form above to supply me with your credit/debit card details. The fee must be paid at the time of request.
