Tuition Fees

Tuition fee on all courses includes tuition for hours specified, use of books, and College file. All hours quoted are 60 minutes! We do not count coffee, tea and lunch breaks as teaching time!

Please note: There is no refund if any of the listed services are not taken. All hours are per week.

A 15 hour (half-day) Course from 0930 - 1300 Monday to Friday. There are 2 classes of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 16. Maximum class size 12

A 22.5 hour (full-day) Course from 0930 - 1515 Monday to Friday. There are 3 classes of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 16. Maximum class size 12

A 12 hour course for Upper-Intermediate students from 1345 - 1700 Monday to Thursday. There are 2 classes of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 16. Maximum class size 12. Not available between 22 June and 11 September 2009. Contact our office for start dates. Can also be combined with General English A.

Summer IELTS Preparation
A 6 hour course for Upper-Intermediate students from 1530 - 1700 Monday to Thursday. There is 1 class of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 16. Maximum class size 12. Available on selected dates between 22 June and 11 September 2009. Contact our office for start dates.

IELTS Improvers
A 6 hour course for Pre-Intermediate  and Intermediate students from 1530 - 1700 Monday to Thursday. There is 1 class of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 16. Maximum class size 14. Contact our office for start dates. Can also be combined with General English B.

The Adult Summer Course
An 18+ hour (full-day) General English course from 0930 - 1530 Monday to Friday. Plus an optional cultural programme and activities in the afternoons from 1530 to 1700. 25 classes of 45 minutes each week. The course ends on a Friday, so the Saturday excursion is not included on the departure day (the Saturday following). Minimum age 18. Maximum class size 14.

The Junior Summer Course
A 17+ hour (full-day) General English course from 0930 - 1530 Monday to Friday. Plus an afternoon and evening activity programme from 1530 to 1700. The course ends on a Friday, so the Saturday excursion is not included on the departure day (the Saturday following). Minimum age 12. Maximum age 17. Maximum class size 14.

The Easter and October courses
A 17+ hour (full-day) Junior General English courses from 0930 - 1700 Monday to Friday. 24 lessons of 45 minutes each plus an educational activity programme in the afternoons. Minimum age 11. Maximum age 18 (19 if still at school). Maximum class size 14.

A 15 hour General English course from 0930 - 1300 Monday to Friday followed by an afternoon and evening programme. 2 classes of 90 minutes each day. Minimum age 50. Maximum class size 12 (14 in summer for students not in the special Gold Course classes).

All accommodation includes placement charge, bed, breakfast, evening meal and lunch at weekends. Full Board accommodation includes weekday lunch. Accommodation is automatically in single rooms for students over the age of 18 at the start of their course but may be in shared rooms (with a student under 18 who speaks another language) for students under 18 at the start of their course.  Many families have more than one room and take more than one student. Accommodation is from 1200 Saturday to 1200 Saturday. Please note that there is no reduction in the accommodation fee if a student arrives late or leaves early, but additional nights will be charged for if a student arrives early or leaves late. Additional nights may involve moving to a new host. Students must not plan to arrive at or leave their host between 0000 and 0600. Airport transfer services operate from Leeds and Manchester airports.
