Welfare and Safeguarding
Looking after our students
Melton College is a small, friendly, family-run school. We all work and study in one building and we know all our students.
We aim to provide you with great tuition but our most important job is to look after you during your time with us.
We have trained staff to look after your needs so you can concentrate on enjoying your course.
We have trained staff to look after your welfare and there is always someone to talk to. Being away from home, whatever your age, can be stressful, we are here to help! Melton College has a Welfare Officer and all our staff have first aid and safeguarding training. We have a 24 hour Emergency Phone Service (+44 7702596810) and there is always a member of staff ready to help. We collect contact details for all our students either before arrival or on the first day.
We want to provide a safe, secure environment for all our students but this is especially important for your Young Learners. Our staff have a high level of safeguarding training and we make sure our youngler students know who to talk to if they have a problem. We are also available for their parents, whenever they need to talk.
