Melton College reopened for IELTS testing on 20 June 2020. Our priority is the health and safety of our candidates and staff and additional measures have been introduced to protect everyone on the test day

  • Face masks are mandatory for all candidates and staff. However candidates will be required to remove the mask briefly for ID checking and to have their photo taken. Candidates can also remove the face mask for their speaking test if they wish
  • Temperature checks will be conducted on arrival at the college. Anyone with a temperature over 37.5 will not be allowed to enter the building
  • Protective plastic screens will be in place during registration, in our waiting area and during the speaking tests
  • All public areas and test rooms will be thoroughly cleaned throughout the day and after each test session
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the college and candidates must use this
  • Seating in the waiting room now maintains 1m+ metre social distance
  • Test places have been reduced to ensure that 1m+ metre distance is maintained in the test room
  • Candidates will be advised not to come to Melton College for their test if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. They will need to sign a declaration form on arrival at Melton College to confirm this

Once a candidate has booked a test, more information on the new procedures will be emailed to them. If you have any questions about this, please email — ielts@meltoncollege.co.uk
