Easter Course in York

Easter is a great time to visit York, and is an amazing year-round city. Easter is a beautiful time with the banks of the City Walls covered with thousands of daffodils. Our Easter Course has run since 1970 and offers students the chance to get ready for end of year exams or just give a boost to their English during the short Easter Holidays. Parents can join our Gold Course full or part-time – or just enjoy a great holiday  (or work remotely) in one of Europe’s top tourist cities while we look after the kids and help them explore the English language in a fun and productive way!

Our programme makes the most of York at Easter and students have the chance to visit many of the key tourist attractions.  Of course, because it is Easter, we also have an Easter Egg hunt for our younger students (and any who like chocolate!). 

The Junior course is open to students from 11 to 19 and they can travel alone or with a parent. Kids aged 7-10 are welcome with a parent, providing the child has A2 level English. Parents are welcome on our Easter Gold Course and families can share rooms in Melton Guest House, situated next to the College.

Students travelling alone are looked after by all of us but especially by our welfare staff. We have some lovely Homestay Hosts to provide accommodation and a warm Yorkshire welcome!
