Hybrid Courses
Our Hybrid English courses are for anyone who is unable to travel but doesn’t want to miss out! You can still be part of an immersive English classroom from the comfort of your own home.
Our Hybrid English Courses run alongside our regular English courses.
Learners are able to attend the class digitally and work with other learners at Melton College using Zoom.
Materials will be made digitally available to learners and they will be able to participate and interact with the teacher and other learners in real-time.
Which English Courses are Available to Study as a Hybrid?
All of our published English courses are available to study as a Hybrid course, subject to availability. That means our Young Learners Courses, Adult English Courses* and our Gold (40+) English Courses are now available to those who are unable to travel to York!
What do I Need to Attend a Hybrid Course?
You need a computer with a reliable internet connection and webcam as well as a quiet place to study and/or a noise cancelling headset. You will also need an email address to which we can send materials and invitations to the class via Zoom.
How Much does a Hybrid English Course Cost?

Unfortunately, Hybrid Course students cannot take part in activities. This means that for the Gold Course the hybrid option is morning only and for Young learners' Courses there will be one or two morning - only days when the class in York are having a Lesson Out.
