Contact

Ensure that we can contact you at all times in case of an emergency.  Please ensure that the office has your mobile phone number and ensure that when you are not in the College you carry it with you!

Your Group's Programme

Your programme can only be adjusted with our agreement, your agreement and the agreement of your agency!  Homestay hosts will be informed of any changes by us. This is what they will expect to avoid any confusion.

Your Group's Curfew

The default position for Closed Groups is that students must return home after their last activity of the day and must not go out after dinner.  If you want to let a later time, for example if your group are older teenagers, please talk to us so we can inform the hosts.  The latest curfew times possible are those set by the College for individual students.

Activities arranged by Homestay Hosts

Unless you explicitly tell us differently, we will assume you are happy for students in your group to go out in the evening with their hosts. This might be, for example, to the shopping centre or the bowling alley.

We also assume that you are happy if two hosts combine for such an activity, with only one of them staying with or near the students.

The hosts are aware that this is allowed, but that other students cannot opt to join them without:

a) The agreement of both hosts

b) The College being informed - so that we can inform you

Hosts cannot be expected to look after the students of other hosts. Nor, of course, are hosts under any obligation to arrange trips out.

If you feel you group would like a shared activity, often a request for the final night, please talk to us.
