Meals
Our breakfast buffet is available:

We do not serve luch but you are welcome to make sandwiches for lunch, at breakfast.
Dinner is served, every evening at 1800
At breakfast, every day, please let us know if you will be with us for dinner.
If you are going to be with us for dinner, please ensure you tell us by placing the table tennis ball with your room number on it in the "Dinner YES" bowl, on the piano in the Dining Room. If you will be out for dinner, please place the ball in the "Dinner OUT" bowl
FIRE
In case of fire, please evacuate the building. The assembly point is in the Car Park.
Garden
You have access to the Garden through the Conservatory. Please ensure the door is locked at night. The door code is C678

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building!

Security
Our car park, common areas and garden are covered by CCTV.
Please ensure the front door (and, when closed, the outer front door) are shut and locked.
Car Parking
There are spaces available in front of the Guest House and also in front of Melton College, one down the road at 137 Holgate Rd.
Smoking and E-Cigarettes
There is no smoking or e-cigarette use allowed anywhere inside the Guest House. You are welcome to smoke in the garden or car park.
Keys
Your keys include a front door key and room key, which also opens the inner, front door. Some rooms automatically lock, so please ensure you carry your key with you!
Room cleaning
If you are staying more than one week, we will change your sheets and towels at the end of each week.
If you need fresh towels during the week, please leave the towel you want to be replaced on the floor.
Every day we will give your room a quick clean.
If you would prefer us not to enter your room, please let us know.
Hospitality Trays
If you want additional items for your tray, fresh milk, more coffee, tea and sugar, and a selection of alternative teas are available in the Guest Sitting Room.
Getting into York
Most places in the City are 20~25 minutes’ walk away. The City Walls (Micklegate Bar) are about 10 minutes’ walk away. Buses into the city go from the other side of the road. There are bus stops 150m down the road and 100m up the road.
