The Young Learners' Easter Course runs from 3rd April to 8th May. However, most students come for one or two weeks either side of the Easter Weekend (16th~17th April) .

The programme for these weeks is on the following pages. The programme for the other weeks will be planned once we have a clear idea of the number of students.

This is our chance to show you some of the highlights which make York one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe!

We will also show you the bus stops, where to change money, the main shopping areas and our meeting points for activities in the City.

Projects are a great way to get to know the city, speak with locals and visitors and practise your English.

Join your friends for bowling at our noisy but fun local bowling alley!

York is home to the largest Railway Museum in the World.

It's not all about trains and engineering. This enormous museum also includes the Royal Carriages. See how the British Royal Family from Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II travel by train!

Your chance to make and eat some traditional Yorkshire food.

Yorkshire has some of the most dramatic coastline in England with long sandy beaches, high cliffs and some beautiful coastal towns and villages.

We will visit Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby and also have the chance to visit Goathland - home to Hogsmead station, a must for Harry Potter fans!

On Sundays we say hello to new students and goodbye to those going home. We run a transfer service to Leeds and Manchester airport from early morning until the evening. It's sad to say goodbye but we hope you have had a great time with us and will have many happy memories of your time in York!

Treasure Hunts are a city-based quiz. The answers are in shop windows and on street signs - but you have to find them!

We will get together at the end to find out who has won and have a hot drink.

We will let you choose from the films on offer and will go to the Cinema in the late afternoon.

York Minster dominates the city skyline and is the biggest tourist attraction in the region!

We will have a look round, including a guided tour. This is also a great location for a "Lesson Out" so we will be doing some project work based round our visit.

Test your general knowledge in small teams. The quiz is not about English but it may be about England! During the quiz we will have our evening meal.

Bolton Abbey is famous as one of the most beautiful places in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. We will visit the Abbey, walk round the estate and enjoy the scenery before heading to Harrogate, a pretty little spa town for some free time and shopping.
