However, courses are flexible so students can study for as many weeks as they wish, and we may add activities and make changes based on student demand!

Beverley is a beautiful market town in East Yorkshire, famous for its square and church. Castle Howard is one of the most famous Stately Homes in England. Used for many films and TV series, the house is set in amazing grounds with lakes, follies and fountains.

On Sundays we say hello to new students and goodbye to those going home. We run a transfer service to Leeds and Manchester airport from early morning until the evening. It's sad to say goodbye but we hope you have had a great time with us and will have many happy memories of your time in York!

Treasure Hunts are a city-based puzzle. The answers are found in shop windows and on street signs - but can you find them!

Compete against other teams to find clues and answers around the city centre. Tricky questions will require lateral thinking and good team work to win the prize

York Minster dominates the city skyline and is the biggest tourist attraction in the region!

Morning classes will give you a taste of some of the Minster’s history. In the afternoon we will bring the lesson to life with a guided tour around this amazing building

A chance to see one of the latest releases in the local luxurious cinema

We will go to Everyman cinema which hosts four unique screens and sofas to relax on while you watch the movies. You can order what you want from the kitchen, which brings drinks, popcorn and snacks straight to your seat

Projects are a great way to get to Projects are a great way get to know the city, boost confidence, and use English outside of the classroom

Each week has a different themed project that will need you to work as a team and complete research on the city and its people. Although teachers will be nearby, each team must complete their tasks independently

Nothing is more British than an afternoon tea, complete with scones!

Follow a classic English recipe to learn how to make scones, then enjoy them freshly baked with a cup of tea

Bolton Abbey is famous as one of the most beautiful places in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. We will visit the Abbey, walk round the estate and enjoy the scenery.

After that we will head to Harrogate, a pretty little spa town for some free time and shopping.

Harewood is a great stately home, coming to terms with its history and involvement in the slave trade. The house is home to a stunning collection of art and furniture and also has a lake, gardens and a bird garden.

Knaresborough is a picturesque market town with a castle and a famous bridge crossing the river Nidd.

Yorkshire has some of the most dramatic coastline in England with long sandy beaches, high cliffs and some beautiful coastal towns and villages.

We will visit Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby and also have the chance to visit Goathland - home to Hogsmead station, a must for Harry Potter fans!
