Beverley is a market town in the historic East Riding of Yorkshire. It is best known for Beverley Minster, a Gothic masterpiece and one of the largest parish churches in the UK. The town also contains the remains of North Bar, a medieval gateway and Grade 1 listed building. Home to the Howard family for over 300 years, Castle Howard is a magnificent 18th Century House designed by Sir John Vanbrugh, set within the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Visit the beautiful seaside towns of Whitby and Robin Hood's bay. Robin Hoods Bay is one of the most beautiful villages on the Yorkshire Coast. Here you will be able to walk down to the very steep village street to the shore and go on the beach, if the tide is out. Following this we travel to Whitby, famous as the birthplace of Captain Cook, Bram Stokers' novel, Dracula, and Whitby Abbey. Time and weather permitting, we shall return to York via one of the beautiful villages in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Vist the Yorkshire Dales National Park, an area of outstandng natural beauty. The first stop is in Wharfedale, the most beautiful of the dales, at Bolton Abbey. We then travel to Skipton, a charming market town which is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

Harewood House was built in the 18th Century, designed by John Carr and Robert Adam, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood and remains home to the Lascelles family to this day. You can visit the stunning house, the Bird Garden and explore over 100 acres of beautiful gardens. Following this we will visit Harrogate, a spa town famous for wonderful flower displays, the Turkish Baths and Tea Rooms.
