During the evening walk you will hear about haunted places, headless ghosts, pestilence and plaintive cries as we wander around our narrow streets and into a few dark alleyways. Join us for an evening of history and mystery to capture the imagination and inspire the mind.

Visit the beautiful seaside towns of Whitby and Robin Hood's bay. Robin Hoods Bay is one of the most beautiful villages on the Yorkshire Coast. Here you will be able to walk down to the very steep village street to the shore and go on the beach, if the tide is out. Following this we travel to Whitby, famous as the birthplace of Captain Cook, Bram Stokers' novel, Dracula, and Whitby Abbey. Time and weather permitting, we shall return to York via one of the beautiful villages in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

The river cruise offers an entertaining and informative tour of the River Ouse. You will have the opportunity to learn some fascinating facts about the history of York, while sailing along the very river that brought the Romans and the Vikings to our beautiful city.

Harewood House was built in the 18th Century, designed by John Carr and Robert Adam, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood and remains home to the Lascelles family to this day. You can visit the stunning house, the Bird Garden and explore over 100 acres of beautiful gardens. Following this we will visit Harrogate, a spa town famous for wonderful flower displays, the Turkish Baths and Tea Rooms.

Beverley is a market town in the historic East Riding of Yorkshire. It is best known for Beverley Minster, a Gothic masterpiece and one of the largest parish churches in the UK. The town also contains the remains of North Bar, a medieval gateway and Grade 1 listed building. Home to the Howard family for over 300 years, Castle Howard is a magnificent 18th Century House designed by Sir John Vanbrugh, set within the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
