You are landing at Manchester Airport, just under 2 hours from York. There are no stops on the journey so remember to use the toilets in the airport.

Please make sure you collect your luggage. If any is missing, you must complete a missing luggage form before leaving the security area.

Your families will collect you from Holgate Park, or a taxi will collect you and take you to meet your host family at home.

We will keep the families updated about your flight and journey, so they will be there to meet you as soon as possible!

You have a great opportunity to practice your English!

Once you are home in the evening, please do not go out again unless there is an activity in this programme.

Your family might bring you to College, or you may be making the journey on your own. If you live further away, there is bus pass on the back of your Melton College ID Card.

Remember, in England we drive on the left so be very careful crossing roads! Use a Pedestrian Crossing, if possible!

The Royal Armouries is home to one of the world's largest collections of arms and armour, but also provides a fascinating insight into some of the wars which have shaped Europe over the last 1000 years.

The museum is in Leeds and a short walk brings us to the shopping area for some free time!

Remember to use your English to be polite and respectful to people so you can complete as much of the challenge as possible.

Your hosts will bring you to Holgate Park ready to board the coach back to the airport.

Make sure you are packed and ready. Make sure you do not have sharp objects or liquids in your hand luggage!
