We will keep the families updated about your flight and journey, so they will be there to meet you as soon as possible! Make sure to double check that you've got the right luggage to take away with you and don't leave anything on the coach!
Staying safe and speaking English
You have a great opportunity to practice your English and make the most of your homestay experience!
Evenings are a great time to get to know your host family and spend time using your English with them.
You must be at home.
Your teachers will set a rule for what time you need to be home.
The curfew times exist to keep you safe. Please make sure you always follow this rule so that your teachers, host families and Melton College staff know you are safe and do not need to worry about you.
Travelling safely

Your host family will show you how to come to the College, or they might bring you themselves. If you need one, there will be a First York bus pass on the back of your Melton College ID Card. Just show this to the driver as you get on the bus.
Remember, in England we drive on the left so be very careful crossing roads! Use a Pedestrian Crossing, if possible!
