We will introduce you to a classic of British literature, often with a link to our visits and excursions.

Castle Howard is one of the most famous Stately Homes in England. Used for many films and TV series, the house is set in amazing grounds with lakes, follies and fountains.
Beverley is a beautiful market town in East Yorkshire, famous for its square and church.
Changeover day

On Sundays we say hello to new students and goodbye to those going home. We run a transfer service to Leeds and Manchester airport from early morning until the evening.
It's sad to say goodbye but we hope you have had a great time with us and will have many happy memories of your time in York!

We will go to Everyman cinema which is close to the College.
Taking lessons into the city

Our lessons out bring learning English together with exploring the best of York. This afternoon we will visit one of the city's great educational tourist spots, learning about the history, culture, and significance that makes them special.
Your teachers will be with you and lead class activities to help you keep using and practising your English while out in the city.

Bolton Abbey is famous as one of the most beautiful places in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. We will visit the Abbey, walk round the estate and enjoy the scenery.
After that we will head to Harrogate, a pretty little spa town for some free time and shopping.

A great House and a lovely market town

Harewood is a great stately home, coming to terms with its history and involvement in the slave trade. The house is home to a stunning collection of art and furniture and also has a lake, gardens and a bird garden.
Knareborough is a charming market town with a picturesque river, famous bridge, and a castle.
Time to go home!
