Green ways to get to York
One of our goals for 2024 will be to help as many of our students as possible find a greener way to get to York! There are great options already out there. For example Koln to York takes less than 7 hour by train! If you add in 2 hours for check-in, 1 hour to get through baggage and to the station, two hours by train then it takes almost al long to fly!
There are challenges – it is harder for under 18s to travel by train because there are no direct trains from Europe to the North of England. So watch this space as we explore ideas!
