Students with Additional Needs Policy

We are all different – it is what makes life interesting!

For some people, being different means they will need additional support to help them stay safe and be happy.

There are all sorts of additional needs, and all sorts of reasons someone may have them.

They may be about things that have happened, for example, if they are sad because someone is ill

They may be about how they feel, for example, if they are shy

They may be a disability – but remember, not all disabilities are visible

When we know someone has Additional needs, we will make a plan. This will focus on changes we need to make to help the student be safe and happy.
